Lemon
A fresh, sherbety, clean scented aroma, reminiscent
of the fruit. Has a sedating effect on the nervous system. Excellent
cure-all. Introduced to Europe by the Arabians in 1000AD and
depicted by the early Christians as the fruit of the Tree of
Knowledge from which Eve ate before she and Adam were expelled
from Eden. The Romans believed in dosing pregnant women with
lemon cordials to alleviate nausea. The first tree was grown
in California in 1887.
Uses: Acne, arthritis, cellulite, chilblains, greasy
skin, hair care, oedema, rheumatism, verrucae.
Methods: Bath (3 drops only), Massage and Skin Oil, Vaporisation.
Cautions: Skin irritant. Do not use on skin as it discolours
the skin when exposed to sunlight. Not suitable for young children.
